Janine + Mike

Hang on to your hats, today’s wedding couple are fun roller coaster enthusiasts!! Their ride began with a First Look by the West Patio. As they pulled out of the “station”, they traveled along the grounds taking some pre ceremony pictures with M2 Photography and Willow Tree Films. The ceremony was held in the Cupola Ballroom today which was decorated by Belovely Floral & Event Design along with the centerpieces on the tables.

The adventure continued as the guests made their way to the Mezzanine for cocktail hour while Janine and Mike continued their trip with some more photos and then joined their guests. Following cocktail hour, the guests descended to the Cupola Ballroom once again as they waited for the bridal party introductions as well as the couple’s first dance and parent dances. While the couple made their twists and turns on the dancefloor we revealed the West Ballroom for dinner. The ballroom was set beautifully in a Vintage Garden theme with rounds and square tables dressed in camel clothes and pink napkins with alternating centerpieces of lanterns, florals and votives.

As the journey continued, our friends from Queen of Hearts Catering did an amazing job with dinner service this evening and serving up wonderful culinary delights. Mike and Janine took a breath as they thanked their family and friends for taking this ride with them and then opened the dancefloor with Sound FX Dee Jays. And just like that, they were spinning, turning, up and down all around the dancefloor! Many held on tight as they approached the final incline, to the Mezzanine, for a delightful array of sweets and treats. No cake for these two…. it was cupcakes, cookies and popcorn! As the ride came around on the last turn there was one last thrill. A sparkler send off!

There’s nothing better than spending all day enjoying the rides and having “fireworks” to complete the day. As the couple heads back to the Courtyard Marriott, all of us here at the Phoenixville Foundry want to congratulate the New Mr. and Mrs. Matscherz once again and thank you for taking a ride with us! Your adventures are just beginning, so keep your hands and feet in at all times, hang on tight and enjoy the ride of your lives!!!
