CSL Holiday Party features ‘A Few of My Favorite Things’
Phoenixville Foundry was transformed into a winter wonderland for the “A Few of My Favorite Things” holiday party during the 2022 holiday season. As guests entered the venue, they were greeted by an enchanting sight: frosted hanging decor cascading from the mezzanine level down into the grand ballroom, creating the illusion of delicate icicles suspended in midair. The focal point of the decor was a vintage-looking Santa Claus sleigh, adding a touch of nostalgia to the atmosphere. Christmas trees adorned the Cupola Ballroom with their blue and white snowflake ornaments that stood tall, illuminating the room with a soft, wintry glow. The elegant white linens, white poinsettias, and clear acrylic tables enhanced the overall aesthetic, which created a clean and sophisticated ambiance.
The decor and overall vibe of this holiday party weren’t the only things that stood out. The food, catered by J. Scott Catering, was particularly festive and delicious. Featuring a mouthwatering selection of hors d’oeuvres—including Vietnamese Chicken Spring Rolls, Mini Crab Cakes and more along with food stations and a live action carving station offering Herb Crusted Filet of Beef, Apple Bacon and Fontina Stuffed Pork Loin, and Salmon Filets—the selections and flavors truly delighted guests’ tastebuds. For dessert, the Shortcake Station delighted with individual slices and a variety of toppings, while the Hot Cocoa Station warmed guests with rich hot chocolate and an assortment of tempting toppings.
